PA GOP: RNC Chairman Michael Steele And PA GOP Chairman Rob Gleason Stand With Strong GOP Ticket, Including Pat Toomey, Tom Corbett, Jim Cawley, Mike Fitzpatrick and Dee Adcock

BLUE BELL – Today, Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele and Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason were joined by Republican candidates for statewide office, including U.S. Senate candidate Pat Toomey and Lt. Governor candidate Jim Cawley as well as Congressional Candidates Mike Fitzpatrick and Dee Adcock at a press conference unveiling our strong Pennsylvania ticket and strategy heading into the November elections at the Southeast PA Victory Office.

Chairmen Steele and Gleason as well as members of our great PA GOP ticket released the following statements:

PA GOP Chairman Rob Gleason – “As Chairman of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania, I am honored to stand with Chairman Michael Steele and the RNC as we reaffirm our commitment to the strongest Republican ticket we have ever fielded.  Our ticket led by U.S. Senate candidate Pat Toomey and Gubernatorial candidate Tom Corbett, will help us usher a new class of strong, principled leaders in both Washington, D.C. and Harrisburg.”

RNC Chairman Michael Steele – “The entire ticket of Republican candidates in Pennsylvania is truly impressive.  Thanks to the hard work of Chairman Gleason and the Pennsylvania Republican Party, we’re poised for victory here in November.  The RNC is committed to helping win these critical races to restore common-sense leadership and fiscal accountability to Harrisburg and Washington, D.C.”

U.S. Senate Candidate Pat Toomey – “I am very confident about Republicans’ prospects for victory in the state of Pennsylvania.  Pennsylvania taxpayers have made it clear that they are fed up with the runaway spending, the staggering deficits, the taxpayer-funded bailouts, and the new tax increases at both at the federal and state level.  Our Republican candidates are making the case for returning our country and our state to fiscal responsibility and commonsense reforms—that message will resonate with Republicans, Democrats, and Independents in the fall.”

Lt. Governor Candidate Jim Cawley – “Our Commonwealth is on the wrong track and that is why people have lost faith in their government.  Tom Corbett and I are part of a Republican team that believes to get on the right track we must cut government spending, lower taxes and allow small businesses to grow our economy.”

Congressional Candidate Mike Fitzpatrick (PA-8) – “2010 is as important an election as we have ever had in this country. Voters will decide whether we return to the form of government that our founders envisioned or whether we are going to move towards the type of welfare state that is currently collapsing in Europe. Chairman Steele and Chairman Gleason get that. Pat Toomey gets it. I look forward to working with them to take back our country.”

Congressional Candidate Dee Adcock (PA-13) – “I am very excited to have the opportunity to represent the Republican Party as the PA 13th Congressional Candidate.  I believe my message of conservative values, reduced and responsible spending, limited government and my ideas on job growth will resonate with the voters in the district.  President Obama’s and my opponent Allyson’s Schwartz policies have stifled our businesses and economy.  It’s time we bring back sensible, proven ideas back to Washington.”
