HARRISBURG – Republican Party of Pennsylvania Spokesman Mike Barley called on Congresswoman Kathy Dahlkemper to join her colleague Congresswoman Betty Sutton (D-OH) in calling on Congressman Charlie Rangel to resign.

“The time has come for Kathy Dahlkemper to show some leadership for a change,” Barley said. “Will she support the questionable ethics of Charlie Rangel or do the right thing and call for his resignation immediately. Now that one Democrat has stood up and called for his resignation, will Kathy Dahlkemper do the same?

“The fact that the people of the 3rd Congressional District would even have to ask that question is further proof that Kathy Dahlkemper does not share their values and cares far more about fitting in with the Nancy Pelosi crowd in Washington, D.C. than doing the right thing on behalf of hardworking Pennsylvania families.”
