PA GOP: Callahan Went To San Francisco’s Pelosi Wharf Looking For Donations?
HARRISBURG – Republican Party of Pennsylvania Spokesman Mike Barley was curious as to why 15th District Congressional candidate John Callahan made a late summer trip to San Francisco for a fundraiser.“I guess when the going gets tough, John Callahan goes to San Francisco,” Barley said. “It’s certainly interesting that John Callahan felt the need to travel all the way across the country in order to raise funds to run for office in the Lehigh Valley. Remember that every dollar he raises in San Francisco is accompanied by a promise from John Callahan that he will support an extreme liberal agenda.

“Of course, San Francisco is also the home to Speaker Nancy Pelosi, one of John Callahan’s biggest financial backers, contributing $14,000 to his campaign already.  Why else would John Callahan use campaign funds to travel out to San Francisco for a fundraiser unless it’s with Nancy Pelosi?

“John Callahan should come clean and tell us if he had a fundraiser with Nancy Pelosi.  What does he have to hide?”

On his latest quarterly FEC report, John Callahan charged flights, hotel and food expenses from his trip to San Francisco to his campaign.
