PA GOP: Major Absentee Ballot Fraud Suspected In Bucks County

HARRISBURG – On Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 3 p.m., officials from the Republican Party of Pennsylvania and the Bucks County Republican Committee will be addressing a series of Democratic Party absentee ballot letters, which were sent on the letterhead of the fictitious Pennsylvania Voter Assistance Office, warning voters that their ability to cast their ballots could be threatened.  With over 400 of these absentee ballot requests rejected by the Bucks County Bureau of Elections because of defects, the Republican Party is asking for a full investigation into the matter.  Yesterday, a report in The Allentown Morning Call revealed that the mailer was developed by Bucks County Democratic Committee Chairman John Cordisco.  To view a copy of the mailer, click here.
