PA GOP: Obama Comes In To Try To Save The Day For His Liberal Democrat Colleagues

HARRISBURG – Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement regarding President Barack Obama’s campaign stop in Philadelphia today:

“President Obama just couldn’t resist campaigning in Philadelphia today as he desperately tries to save his liberal allies from the voters who are eager to come out to the polls and reject their big government agenda,” Gleason said.  “While Barack Obama has had success on the campaign trail when he campaigns for himself, his record as a surrogate leaves much to be desired.  Don’t believe me – just ask Martha Coakley and Arlen Specter!

“Joe Sestak and Dan Onorato’s embrace of the Obama-Pelosi agenda of trillion dollar stimulus plans and ObamaCare tells us we all need to know about what kind of leader they would be if they were to be elected.   It’s time for us to change directions away from this big government agenda and implement policies that will help us reduce spending, lower taxes and create jobs!  It’s time to elect U.S. Senate candidate Pat Toomey, gubernatorial candidate Tom Corbett and our entire slate of Republican candidates from the U.S. House to the State House.”
