Pat Meehan, congressman-elect for the 7th District, has secured seats on the Oversight and Government Reform, Homeland Security and Small Business committees.

“I am extremely pleased with these assignments,” said Meehan, a Republican, in release. “Each of these committees afford me with the opportunity to focus on the priorities that I discussed during the campaign: Rooting out waste, fraud and abuse in government; considering legislation that will keep our country safe; and implementing policies to improve our economy and outlook for small business owners.”
