PA GOP Chairman Gleason Releases Statement Regarding Census Announcement

HARRISBURG – Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement regarding news that Pennsylvania is losing one Congressional seat in the latest Census.

“Today is a sad day for Pennsylvania as we are faced with the reality that we have lost a voice in Congress,” Gleason said. “Even though today’s announcement means a loss for Pennsylvanians, we are confident that the fresh direction forged by the Corbett Administration and our new Republican leadership will result in more jobs and more opportunities for our Commonwealth to grow in the years ahead. We look forward to an open process that will best ensure that Pennsylvanians are fairly represented in government.”
