HARRISBURG - Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason issued the following statement regarding the U.S. House of Representatives vote to repeal ObamaCare:

“It is clear from this vote that Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives heard the message of American voters last November – Repeal ObamaCare,” Gleason said.  “I applaud our Republican Congressional Delegation for standing up and voting to repeal this job-killing, big government mistake. We must begin real healthcare reform that actually reduces costs and expands the reach of quality care.

“Senator Bob Casey is a devoted supporter of President Obama and already has voted to pass this awful piece of legislation once.  If he and his Democratic colleagues are so proud of ObamaCare, why won’t he allow a vote on repeal in a Democratically-controlled U.S. Senate?  It’s time for Senator Bob Casey to let us know whether he has come to his senses and taken the side of hardworking Pennsylvanians or if he will continue to blindly follow President Obama’s failed agenda.”
