PA GOP: Support National School Choice Week

Greetings!

Pennsylvania’s parents and students deserve a choice when it comes to their school.

That’s why the Republican Party of Pennsylvania is supporting National School Choice Week, January 23 – 29, throughout our Commonwealth.

Every day, tens of thousands of children attend schools where quality education is not being offered. Meanwhile, the defenders of the status quo claim that if we just do more of the same — spend more, give more power to big teachers unions — at some point down the road our schools will improve.

We have a different vision that is better for Pennsylvania kids.

Let’s make sure no parent is forced to send their child to a poor quality school without other choices. Let’s give parents options — public, private, parochial, charter, distance learning, homeschool, and other choices — for the education that’s the best fit for their child.

Today’s children don’t have years or decades to wait for more of the same. For today’s students, reform only matters if it gives them a better education while they’re still in school.

As a Republican leader, you can lend your voice to the call for bold, meaningful education reform in Pennsylvania by supporting and participating in National School Choice Week.

Please visit the National School Choice Week website to participate or host a local school choice event in your part of Pennsylvania, or to learn more about the national movement to reform and improve education in America.

The Republican Party of Pennsylvania strongly supports comprehensive school choice and education reforms that empower parents and serve students. You can help. Join the fight.

Thank you for your leadership.

Sincerely,

Rob Gleason,
Chairman
Republican Party of Pennsylvania
