HARRISBURG – Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason is pleased to announce the addition of Angela Nielsen as our new Finance Director for the Republican Party of Pennsylvania.

“As we face important elections in the 2011-12 cycle, we are excited to welcome an experienced fundraiser like Angela Nielsen to the PA GOP,” Gleason said. “Fundraising is a necessary and critical element to any electoral success and we are confident that she will put us in a great position to ensure our Party has the necessary funds to support our qualified Republican candidates.  Angela is another strong addition to our team and I look forward working with her to expand our donor programs throughout the Commonwealth.”

Before being named Finance Director, Angela had served as the Direct Response Manager for Bachmann for Congress, helping that campaign to raise over $10 million from direct response programs in less than six months. She also has served as the Finance Director for the Republican Party of Minnesota and the South Dakota Republican Party.

Angela is originally from Aberdeen, South Dakota and a graduate of the University of South Dakota. She has recently relocated to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
