PA GOP: Stabile and Covey Receive Resounding Support and File Over 16,000 Nominating Petition Signatures

Republicans eager to “Pick Vic” and ‘Vote Covey” for statewide judge
HARRISBURG – Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason congratulated our endorsed candidates for statewide judicial office, Vic Stabile for Superior Court and Anne Covey for Commonwealth Court for filing thousands of petition signatures in support of their candidacies.

“Republicans throughout the Commonwealth want the best and the brightest to serve on Pennsylvania’s statewide courts and that is why over 16,000 Republicans joined together to sign petitions in support of Vic Stabile and Anne Covey,” Gleason said. “This is a great achievement that shatters the signature requirements and gives Vic and Anne a great boost as they continue to their campaigns across the state.”

“I would like to thank the Republican grassroots workers from across the state for their support of this great ticket.  For our Party there is no such thing as an ‘off-year’ election, and we look forward to show voters why they should pick Vic Stabile and vote Anne Covey in the 2011 statewide judicial elections.”
