Your taxes bail out Democrats’ failed agenda

HARRISBURG, PA– Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement regarding Tax Day:

“Today is Tax Day and it’s clear that President Obama and Senator Bob Casey have no problems spending your hard-earned dollars to bail out their failed agenda.  While our nation stands on the brink of economic collapse bearing a $14 trillion dollar debt, President Obama and Senator Casey continue to ignore our spending problems and are driven to raise your taxes even higher in an effort to quench their insatiable thirst for government spending,” Chairman Rob Gleason said.

“As President Obama and Senator Casey begin their billion-dollar reelection campaign to rewrite their failed record, Republicans have stepped up to fill the leadership void by offering solutions to shrink the deficit without succumbing to tax hikes. America has a spending problem, not a revenue problem. As we file our tax returns this year, Democrats should be reminded that it’s the peoples’ money that they spend, not the government’s.”
