Is U.S. Sen. Bob Casey Jr. willfully diminishing the influence of Pennsylvania?
In 2008, 26.3 percent of the infants born in Nevada were born to non-citizen mothers. The figure in California was 29.1 percent. As legislative reapportionment is dictated by the census which draws no distinction between those here legally and those not, Pennsylvania will lose a congressional seat and its associated clout. While these statistics speak to the rising fortunes of illegal aliens within the party of amnesty and therein, Sen. Casey’s abdication of Pennsylvania’s interests, they are also reflective of an unsustainable $100 billion annual burden ($1.4 billion in Pennsylvania) which must be addressed. But how?
