PA GOP: ‘Pick Vic’ and ‘Vote Covey’ Tomorrow

Building upon 2010 momentum, Republicans can support principled public servants

HARRISBURG, PA – Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement regarding tomorrow’s Primary Election and the Republican Party’s endorsed candidates – Vic Stabile for Superior Court and Anne Covey for Commonwealth Court:

“Over the past few months Vic Stabile and Anne Covey have been crisscrossing our Commonwealth, meeting with voters to talk about their conservative judicial philosophies, including their pledge to follow the Constitution to interpret the law and not legislate from the bench. Vic Stabile and Anne Covey will also bring fresh perspective to Pennsylvania’s courts with their extensive legal experience both in and outside of the courtroom,” Chairman Rob Gleason said.

“Voting is one of our most important and fundamental rights, and in Pennsylvania, there is no such thing as an ‘off year election.’ Republicans must continue to build upon the movement we created last November and send principled public servants to Pennsylvania’s highest courts. That’s why tomorrow, May 17th, Republicans should ‘Pick Vic’ and ‘Vote Covey.’”

Based on their experience and integrity Vic Stabile and Anne Covey have been endorsed by numerous elected officials and organizations, including Governor Tom Corbett, Senator Pat Toomey, Lieutenant Governor Jim Cawley and the Republican Party of Pennsylvania.
