Fitzpatrick meets with FEMA director

Bucks County Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick met Thursday with Craig Fugate, director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, to discuss support for the district’s cleanup and recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricane Irene.

“I had the opportunity to discuss the importance of cooperation between the federal government and state and local officials as our communities recover and rebuild after being subjected to flooding,” Fitzpatrick, R-8, said in a press release.

If Bucks County residents have questions or need immediate assistance with a non-emergency situation, they should call the Bucks County Emergency Operations Center Public Information Line at 215-340-8700.
