Congressman-elect Bob Turner’s Historic Victory is a Victory for America

HARRISBURG, PA – Pennsylvania Republican Party Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement regarding Republican candidate Bob Turner’s victory in the special election in New York  9th Congressional district.

“Bob Turner’s victory is further confirmation that Americans are fed up with President Obama’s empty rhetoric and failed leadership.  This is a huge win for voters in New York and this race will send shockwaves across the nation.  A Republican win in a solidly Democrat congressional district in New York City is the latest proof that President Barack Obama is going to have a serious fight on his hands next year when he is forced to answer for his record.  A broad coalition of Republicans, Democrats and Independents sent Bob Turner to Congress to stop the President’s disastrous agenda; and that same coalition will be organizing all across the nation to fire him next year,” Chairman Rob Gleason said.
