PA GOP Congratulates Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum On Iowa Success

Harrisburg, PA – Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following message regarding the results of the Iowa Caucuses:

“What a great night for our Republican Party and our Republican presidential candidates,” Gleason said.  “We congratulate Senator Rick Santorum for his impressive showing last night in Iowa.  Not only was it wonderful to see a Pennsylvania Republican in the national spotlight, but it again proves the value of retail, grassroots campaigning.  Rick Santorum worked incredibly hard and it paid off.  We are incredibly proud of his effort.

“I also would like to applaud Governor Mitt Romney and the other Republican presidential candidates for running great campaigns and Iowa for executing an outstanding caucus process as America formally takes its first steps towards nominating a Republican Presidential candidate to challenge President Obama’s failed leadership and policies. We congratulate each of the Republican candidates for their tireless efforts and dedication in leading America’s fight to defeat President Barack Obama in November.”
