RNC invites voters to submit resume to Obama

The Republican National Committee is encouraging voters to submit a resume to President Obama, after he offered to help an unemployed semiconductor engineer find a job during an online townhall.

The committee has launched NotBetterOff.com, a site that offer a resume delivery service straight to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. “Upload your resume, and we’ll drop it off at the White House!” the RNC website says.

“We’re pretty sure the 12 million jobless Americans would all love to send their resumes to the White House for some help,” RNC spokeswoman Kirsten Kukowski said in a release.

During an online chat on the network Google Plus Monday, Obama was confronted by a woman who was upset over visa rules that allowed foreigners to come to the U.S. while her husband had difficulty finding a job. “I meant what I said, if you send me your husband’s resume, I’d be interested in finding out exactly what’s happening right there,” Obama told her.
