WASHINGTON, Dec. 15 — Sen. Pat Toomey, R-Pa., has introduced legislation (S. 3678) to “help ensure the fiscal solvency of the FHA mortgage insurance programs of the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.”
The bill was introduced on Dec. 13 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Mark R Warner, D-Va.
The legislation was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
