United States Senator Pat Toomey will visit campus this morning to meet with the National Champion Women’s Volleyball team. Head Coach Russ Rose and the rest of the team will join Sen. Toomey for a short presentational ceremony on the court in Rec Hall at 11 a.m.

“Penn State’s women’s volleyball program is a dynasty,” said Toomey in a release. “It takes remarkable dedication, coaching and leadership to win a National Championship, let alone five in seven years. Congratulations to coach Rose, his team and Penn State University on a terrific achievement.”
This isn’t the first time the first-term senator has given props to Penn State in the past year. He publicly praised THON earlier this month, and wrote a letter in support of Lunar Lion last summer.
