HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement regarding Tom Wolf’s recent actions.
“Tom Wolf needs to learn that he can’t hide from his past forever,” Gleason said. “Three months ago, Tom Wolf went out of his way to brag about his belief in transparency and pledge to turn over ‘whatever’ documents the public wanted to see. Sadly, he’s spent the rest of his campaign refusing repeated requests for documents that could answer some of the public’s most pressing questions.
“Why is Tom Wolf being so secretive about his personal income taxes? Why won’t Tom Wolf release his corporate taxes? Why did he say that he would provide the public with ‘whatever’ the public wanted, but won’t release his loan documents? He’s even denying attempts to clarify about the number of women in his business.
“Tom Wolf’s pattern of hiding the facts is troubling. No one asked Tom Wolf to run for Governor. The public has a right to know about the parts of Tom Wolf’s background that won’t fit in a TV ad. We call on Tom Wolf to release these documents to the public in full so the voters can decide who the real Tom Wolf is.”

During a gubernatorial forum in Philadelphia, Tom Wolf made the following pledge, “We’re a private company, but I’ll share whatever people like you want me to share — my personal tax returns, the company information…I’ll be happy to share whatever anybody wants to see.
