Costello has worked productively with Democrats, adding credibility to his campaign promise to fight partisan gridlock in Congress. He speaks convincingly about trying to connect local industries with schools to create career paths for students, and he wants to cut the cost of higher education.
Costello supports open space initiatives, understanding both the environmental and economic benefits. Also, unlike too many in his party, Costello would support timely disclosure of campaign donations.
