HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement in honor of Presidents’ Day.
“Presidents’ Day is a time to celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of leaders such as George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan,” Gleason said. “George Washington’s vision and dedication to our Constitution set the foundation for both our country and its future Commanders-in-Chief. Abraham Lincoln’s leadership and resolve helped to save our union during the Civil War. We also remember Ronald Reagan, who stood up for freedom around the globe as he worked to promote economic prosperity at home.
“The Republican Party of Pennsylvania is proud to honor the legacies of these great leaders by working to elect qualified candidates who will help our Commonwealth, and our country, grow and prosper.”
