HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement regarding Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s comments before a joint session of Congress today.
“Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech provided an important perspective on the continuing danger our world faces from Iran,” Gleason said. “An Iran with nuclear arms is a threat to peace in both Israel and the United States. During such a period of instability throughout the world, our government must do whatever it can to keep our country and its allies safe from harm.
“Today’s speech served as an important moment in the history of the American-Israeli relationship, and it reaffirms our commitment to a strong national defense with Israel as a key ally.”
