Northeast Republican Leadership Conference: Welcome To The Birthplace Of America

Chairman Rob Gleason

As Chairman of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania, I would like to personally welcome all of our attendees to the 2015 Northeast Republican Leadership Conference.

From June 18 through June 20, activists from across the country have converged upon Philadelphia to take part in the premier political event of the 2015 election cycle. Attendees will be hearing from national Party leaders and elected officials, campaign experts and current and potential 2016 presidential candidates.

This year, we are excited to play host to such esteemed speakers as former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, Republican National Committee Co-Chair Sharon Day, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, our own former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus, former Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to President George W. Bush Karl Rove, and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

In addition to our great top-tier speakers, attendees also have the opportunity to hear from national experts on topics ranging from social media to America’s foreign policy.

The Northeast Republican Leadership Conference is a chance to celebrate our Party, our region and our wonderful Commonwealth.

As the home of U.S. Senator Pat Toomey, 13 Republican Congressmen and significant majorities in the state Senate and state House, voters in the Keystone State have shown and openness to support the core Republican principles of individual freedom and economic responsibility that we hold dear.

The Northeast Republican Leadership Conference also comes at a time when our Commonwealth and our country are standing at important crossroads in our history.

Nationally, Hillary Clinton is running to continue the failed policies of the Obama Administration. From her strong support of Obamacare to her legacy as the architect of Obama’s disastrous foreign policy, it’s absolutely critical that Republicans continue to make Hillary Clinton answer for her role in many of the biggest fiascoes of the Obama presidency.

In Pennsylvania, as in so many states throughout the country, Republicans in our General Assembly are fighting hard to ensure that the needs of families and small businesses are placed ahead of the liberal desire to expand our government.

While I am proud of the work of our Republican team, I know our situation is not unique. In every state in our region and in our country, Republican candidates and activists are working hard to share the message of our Party with voters in new and exciting ways in an ever-changing political landscape.

The Northeast Republican Leadership Conference provides these candidates and activists with an opportunity to network and have open discussions about the latest strategies for successfully sharing our Party’s message and winning elections.

The Republican Party of Pennsylvania is proud to provide our fellow activists with such an opportunity in the City of Brotherly Love. We hope that those of you in attendance will leave with more knowledge, more contacts, and a deepened appreciation for the greatness of our Commonwealth and our country.

Welcome to the birthplace of America. Welcome to Pennsylvania!
