Clinton Pledges To Continue The War On Coal

HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement about Hillary Clinton’s support of President Barack Obama’s continuing War on Coal.

“Today, President Barack Obama continues his Hillary Clinton-supported attack on Pennsylvania jobs,” Gleason said. “Hillary Clinton has pledged to escalate President Obama’s War on Coal if elected even as it endangers the livelihoods of tens of thousands of Pennsylvanians. Hillary Clinton needs to understand that the best way to grow our economy is not by killing family-sustaining jobs like those in Pennsylvania’s coal industry.

“President Obama and Hillary Clinton care more about appeasing their liberal special interests friends than Pennsylvania families. How many Pennsylvanians have to lose their jobs in order to appease President Obama and Hillary Clinton’s liberal agenda?”
