HARRISBURG – Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement in celebration of Christmas Day.
“Today, we celebrate the birth of the Savior, Jesus Christ,” Gleason said. “Christmas is a time for families across our country and our world to come together in the peace, love, and joy that are hallmarks of the season. In such a fast-paced world, Christmas also marks an opportunity for our families, friends and loved ones to pause in order to celebrate the miracle of God becoming man in that little town of Bethlehem.
“Thousands of Americans will spend this Christmas away from their families as they serve in our Armed Forces. Let us always be thankful to these brave men and women, and their loved ones, as they sacrifice their time and their safety in defense of our country.
“On behalf of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania, I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas this year!”
