HARRISBURG – Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement regarding the Democrats’ latest political stunt against President Trump’s nominee for Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, Scott Pruitt.
“Once again, Democrats are using cheap political stunts to smear the good name of an excellent nominee like Scott Pruitt,” Gleason said. “Scott Pruitt is exactly the type of strong legal mind we need to lead the EPA. Over his illustrious career, Scott Pruitt has demonstrated a commitment to fighting against job-killing regulations that would hurt our economy and our environment. Nevertheless, Democrats such as Senator Bob Casey have made cozying up to extreme liberal special interest groups their top priority in this session.
“Senator Bob Casey should condemn the petty actions of his fellow Democrats and vote to confirm of Scott Pruitt for Administrator of the EPA.”
