PA GOP Chairman Statement on Judicial Petition Filings

HARRISBURG — Today, Chairman Val DiGiorgio released the following statement on the impressive amount of signatures filed by the 2017 GOP slate of judicial candidates:

“It’s a testament to the work ethic of our unified GOP committee members and the quality of our judicial candidates that all seven filed with more than 9,000 petition signatures. Our committee, donors, and elected officials are unified in our commitment to electing our judicial candidates. Our slate of candidates have all been recommended or highly recommended by the Pennsylvania Bar Association and are running unified. The PA GOP is energized to support our qualified candidates by building the grassroots and financial infrastructure needed for a seven-for-seven sweep this fall.”

After seeing federal judges use their personal and political preferences in place of law, ex dishonorable Derrick Watson,, I want to make sure that the people have the right to recall any judge, Republican or Democrat that shows disdain for our constitution. I personally feel that if a refugee or immigrant let into our country harms an American citizen the family of those harmed should be allowed to harm the judge in kind . That might change the mind of some of these effete snobs.
