HARRISBURG — Following Bob Casey’s announcement that he supports repealing the Ensuring Patient Access and Effective Drug Enforcement Act, the Republican Party of Pennsylvania issued the following statement:
“Bob Casey has once again proved that his rhetoric does not match his actions. Bob Casey had no problem with this legislation when he consented to its passage last year, nor did he take issue with the pharmaceutical industry when he accepted $375,000 in campaign contributions from its members and lobbyists. Don’t let his words fool you — Bob Casey is clearly beholden to Washington special interests. Bob Casey only claims to care about the people of Pennsylvania when doing so serves his political self interest.”
