PA GOP calls for investigation into Democrat Party voter registration tactics

Tuesday, the Republican Party of Pennsylvania requested the Fayette County Elections Bureau and the Fayette County District Attorney undertake an investigation into tactics by the Democratic Party to entice Pennsylvanians to register to vote as Democrats or change their party affiliation to Democrat.

According to Title 25, section 1711(a)(3) no personal shall ““[I]ntentionally give or promise or offer to give money or goods to an individual as an inducement for the the individual to enroll in a particular party or for a registrant to change political affiliation.”

At the Fayette County Fair, Democrats are promising prizes such as Steelers gear and a trip to the Nemacolin resort as inducements to register to vote as or change party affiliation to Democrat.

In response, Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Val DiGiorgio, made the following statement:

“We are requesting this investigation not only because of the apparently flagrant violation of state election law, but also to ensure the voter registration process remains untainted desperate actors seeking to gain an unfair—and potentially illegal—advantage.

“It is my hope that an investigation will be underway shortly, this problem will be corrected, and those responsible held accountable.”

I have on occasion been offered alcohol in exchange for my vote.

About time Republicans asserted themselves. Stop letting the Libs run over you’all.

Good luck. DA Bower and AG Shapiro refuse to investigate ex-state Rep. Tim Mahoney (whose campaign sign features prominently in your Exhibit 1) for alleged election fraud and perjuries. The PA Office of AG and AG Shapiro are in possession of the prima facie, irrefutable, ironclad, immutable evidence, but AG Shapiro refuses to even contact my colleague and me, let alone investigate the election crimes of which a conviction upon would disqualify Timothy S. Mahoney for any public office of profit or trust in this Commonwealth.

My calls to Republican leadership to place AG Shapiro under scrutiny for this unprofessional conduct in the mishandling of this matter have gone unanswered.

Calling your bluff, Mr. DiGiorgio. Put your money where your mouth is and file an actual formal complaint, not just a letter.
