Bob Casey has time to campaign with the ultra-left, but not work effectively on behalf of Pennsylvanians

This past weekend, U.S. Senator Bob Casey campaigned with former President Barack Obama and left-wing standard-bearer, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren.

While Bob Casey seems to have time to campaign with the left wing of his Party, he apparently lacks time to work effectively for the people of Pennsylvania, being voted twice as one of the least effective Senators in the entire U.S. Senate.

While providing little of substance for the people of Pennsylvania, Bob Casey has seen fit to:

  • Support sanctuary cities;
  • Engage in blind obstruction of well-qualified nominees; and
  • Abandon once-held moderate beliefs on abortion and the Second Amendment

In response, Republican Party of Pennsylvania Communications Director Jason Gottesman, made the following statement:

“Campaigning with Barack Obama and Elizabeth Warren while failing to effectively represent Pennsylvanians is typical of do-nothing Bob Casey.

“Over the last twelve years, Bob Casey has moved to the left on the issues Pennsylvanians care about, leaving Pennsylvania voters behind while catering to the liberal-progressive leadership of his Party.

“In his two terms in office, Bob Casey has been rated one of the least effective Senators, all the while pocketing over $3 million from taxpayers. He is undeserving of a third term.”
