Saturday, Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate candidates Lou Barletta and Bob Casey held their first debate.
Following the debate, Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Val DiGiorgio, made the following statement:
“Over the past twelve years, Bob Casey has collected nearly $3 million from taxpayers while accomplishing nothing of substance and being rated one of the least effective Senators twice.
“Instead of working hard on behalf of Pennsylvanians, Bob Casey has instead become a leader of the obstructionist movement by doing things like refusing to support Justice Brett Kavanaugh even before he was nominated.
“Bob Casey has also run repeatedly to his left and become pro-choice, anti-Second Amendment, and voting in favor of protecting sanctuary cities.
“Lou Barletta is a proven leader with a record of supporting the economy-booming tax cuts, strong borders, and pragmatic conservative principles.
“Lou Barletta is the clear choice for Pennsylvanians that want to keep America on the right track and not roll back the advances made by Republican leadership.”
