Republican Party of Pennsylvania statement on the passing of George H. W. Bush

Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Val DiGiorgio, made the following statement on the death of former President George H. W. Bush, who passed away Friday at the age of 94:

“The Republican Party of Pennsylvania extends our condolences and sympathies to the Bush family on the passing former President George H. W. Bush.

“President Bush was a tremendous Republican President; a decorated veteran; and a man committed to faith, family, and charity. His voice and his legacy of self-sacrificing leadership will be missed by our Party and our country.”

    George H. W. Bush was truly a statesman. I particularly enjoyed reading the note he left for Bill Clinton at the White House as Mr. Clinton was beginning his presidency. It demonstrated that he understood that we need to work together because we are all in this together. Sad how pathetic the entire political system has become. I believe it started with fox “news”. Anyone who thinks they are going to get the straight story from the propaganda arm of the republican party is clearly an idiot.
