Failed U.S. Senate candidate and 2020 Democratic Presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke is scheduled to make a campaign stop in State College Tuesday.
In response, Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Val DiGiorgio, made the following statement:
“Beto O’Rourke’s values are completely out of line with Pennsylvania’s values.
“Beto O’Rourke supports socialist proposals like the $93 trillion Green New Deal and the complete government takeover of health care in Medicare-for-All, which are proposals that fly in the face of American values, would impose impossible tax burdens on average Pennsylvania households, and insert government into the lives of individuals in a way never contemplated by the founders of our country.
“In addition, Beto O’Rourke’s disgusting recent support for third trimester abortions shows he stands with the socialist left in this country that seeks to undermine basic human dignity as they attempt to implement their radical agenda on the country.”
