Economy tops list of issues voters would tackle if they were president

The economy tops a list of policies voters say they'd tackle if they were president of the United States, a new poll found Monday.

The economy leads a list of priorities citizens said they would address if they were president and could only tackle, ahead of other issues like healthcare reform, increasing border security, making college more affordable, and reducing global warming.

52 percent of those surveyed said "creating a robust economy" would be their top priority, according to a 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair poll released Monday.

The economy leads voters' priorities among Democrats, Republicans, and Independents, the poll found.
