Pennsylvania Republicans Play Key Role In Keeping The U.S. House Red

HARRISBURG – Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement regarding last night’s Congressional election results.

“Pennsylvania voters just played a key role in keep the House in Republican hands,” Gleason said. “From Beaver Falls to Bethlehem, Pennsylvanians voted to send 13 Republicans to the United States House. Congratulations are especially in order for Congressman-elect Brian Fitzpatrick, whose experiences in law enforcement and the War on Terror have provided him with a unique perspective on national security issues. I would also like to applaud Congressman-elect Lloyd Smucker, an outspoken advocate for education reform who will serve as a great voice for the 16th District.

“I want to also personally offer my congratulations to Congressman Bill Shuster on being the Dean of Pennsylvania’s Republican Delegation. His leadership and commitment to conservatism are unparalleled, and I look forward to watching him work to improve our country’s infrastructure.
