Harrisburg, Pa. —The annual dreaded tax deadline has undergone a rebranding this year. America’s hardest working families and small business owners can celebrate the last time they will file their taxes under the outdated, complicated tax code.
“As a result of the GOP passing historic, sweeping tax reform, it is estimated that 90 percent of Americans have already seen more in their take-home pay this year. Additionally, companies have decided to offer bonuses and a myriad of new benefits for retirement, maternity and paternity leave. Apropos of the passage of this sweeping tax reform–the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act–we even have a cause to celebrate this year’s tax deadline.
“A day typically filled with anxiety and stress brings good news: this year this is the last time Pennsylvania residents will have to file their tax returns under this outdated and burdensome Tax Code.
