Republicans Go Three for Three, After Democrats Spend Over 900K

Harrisburg – After winning three out of three Special Elections held on March 17, The Pennsylvania Republican Party says that message matters. Democrat spending across these three races totaled over $900,000.  Even after outspending Republicans, the message was clear, Pennsylvania is not for sale.  The Special Elections for State House seats took place in PA-HD8, Tim Boner, covering parts of Mercer and Butler Counties, PA-HD18, KC Tomlinson, covering parts of Bucks County, and PA-HD58 Eric Davanzo, covering parts of Westmoreland County.

“The successes of the March 17th Special Elections show the strength of our party in the Commonwealth, and have fortified the Republican majority in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives,” said Lawrence Tabas, Chairman of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania.  “These victories also serve to further the Republican momentum in Pennsylvania ahead of the November 3rd General Election.  From President Trump, to our Statewide Row Offices, our Congressional races, and General Assembly, Pennsylvania will be a Red State in 2020 on the strength of our candidates.”

“I look forward to working with KC, Tim and Eric in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives,” said House Republican Campaign Committee Chairman Greg Rothman (R – Cumberland).  “All three of these candidates won on the strength of their community ties and message.  As the 2020 Election begins to come into form, we in the House Republican Caucus are confident we will not only hold, but expand our majority.”
